Required Column Order
Column ASubcontractor — full company name, must match the Subcontractors database for autocomplete to work Column BSpec Section — CSI spec number, e.g. 09 6800 Column CDescription — submittal description, e.g. Resilient Flooring Column I or JSubsection reference (optional) — page/paragraph where submittal requirements are defined
Column position is what matters, not header text. A row 1 header is fine but optional — the importer reads columns A/B/C by position regardless of what's typed in them, and skips any row that doesn't look like real spec-line data. File must be .xlsx or .xlsm.
